Are you a drone operator who wants to use the network remote identification service?

Who is it for?

This service is available to all drone operators (recreational or commercial) already registered in their state or in Switzerland. To register in Switzerland, please visit the UAS.gate platform.

What you should know:

  • The use of the service is voluntary until the U-space regulation comes into force.
  • Only data necessary for the operation of the service is shared with authorised users (e.g. registration number, unique serial number, geographical position of the drone; see art. 8 of the U-space regulation).
  • You can connect to the service provider of your choice.

Why use the service if it is not mandatory?

The service will be mandatory in future U-space airspaces. Using it now will allow you to gain experience and give feedback on the use of the service, which will allow USSP to improve their technology and FOCA to improve the use and development of the service at the national and European levels based on the operators’ experiences.

NET-RID offers another level of security, transparency and reassurance that recreational and commercial drone operators are flying in a manner that is compliant with regulations.

How to use it?

To use the service, you will need to log in to one of the service providers below and enter your registration number and information.
